5月12日 Susan Boyle On Oprah!Last night The Oprah Winfrey Show beamed live from Susan Boyle's West Lothian home. Susan nattered to the chat-show queen via a satellite link, which squeezed her smiling face into millions of American tellyboxes - Talk about great coverage! Show producers even provided subtitles, just in case her stateside fans couldn't grasp her accent!
She played down talk of her being the clear cut winner and paid tribute to her fellow competitors:
“I have every chance [of winning], but at the same time there is a lot of other talent in the competition, so I’m willing to take my place with them. There’s a lot of other talent on the show”
Oprah asked about the fact that she'd never been kissed, was she lonesome?
“Oh no I’m not lonely, everyone has been so nice… I’ve got millions of new friends now!” Simon Cowell appeared alongside Oprah on her World's Got Talent special. He had plenty to say about Susan too!
“It was the most surreal thing that ever happened. Just to see that look of satisfaction on her face mid-way through, which is, ‘I’m winning now.’ It was one of my favourite moments.”
Simon was sure her time on stage would stay with him forever...
How sweet…
Do you think that UK viewers will still vote for Susan or has she already won? Could there be a shock result?

SHOW STARTS:
LOL! This first act should cause a draft in the auditorium!
Mr Methane (Paul Oldfield from Lowership Lake) is a performing ‘flatulist’ – That’s not even a word. He says, “I want to put the art into fart” - Eugh!
Dressed in his Mr Methane costume (complete with cape and eye mask) he adopts his “farting position” and Simon buzzes immediately – I don’t blame him.
…The track plays and Mr Methane ‘pumps’ along with a look of intense concentration. Good Lord, it's the Blue Danube Waltz! As quick as you can say air biscuit, the judges buzz. Piers and Amanda hold their noses and Simon shakes his head, "You are a disgusting creature”.
Eugene McCarthy cracked me up! I know the judges buzzed him, but I couldn't stop laughing at Ant an Dec. He walked on stage with a cake on his head and tried to tell a joke about his "hair being in a bun". It was a naff joke, but Dec couldn't stop laughing. "It's not even a bun, it's a custard slice!" Those boys are legends!
Poor Emma Czikia, it's never nice to get three buzzes, but it's also not a good idea to think you're better than you are. This is a classic case of being told you are good for years (out of politeness) and then auditioning because you believe what people tell you.
With every buzz she makes the boys restart the track and after her rendition of You Raise Me Up is slated she tries to blame the backing track. "...and I'm not used to this situation. It's a nice song and you should give everyone a chance".
Simon is not happy with her attitude. "It's a nice song when you're not singing it! It's not the microphone and it's not the track - It's you!" - She tries to argue her case, but by this point the crowd have had enough too and shout her off... "Off! Off! Off!"
Who's next?
It's Lewis! Awww! I don't think they gave Lewis a chance there...
Piers called him a ventriloquist, but he's not. He acted as such with all the usual lip movement, but then pulled his hand away from the bird and it talked all by itself! (In case you missed it, the bird was computer controlled) - A smidge of comedy genius missed.
Merlin Cadogan is nails.
Dressed in very tight union jack shorts, Merlin promises “The most dangerous trick that has ever been done on the show and if it goes wrong I could die”. Should I be disturbed that Simon is smiling? Merlin explains... “I escape from 10 meters of chain and I juggle fire under water, I want to be the modern day Houdini”.
With his assistant on stage, Merlin places an old school style metal diving helmet on his head and his hands are tied together with padlocked chains. His assistant proceeds to fill his helmet with water and he has just seconds to release himself (and juggle with fire) before he must squeeze out and take a breath! I was on the edge of my seat when he couldn't get the helmet off, how about you? It made a nice change to see panic in Simon's eyes for once, didn't it.
Simon's impossible to impress. “I think you just looked stupid with that thing on your head… how extreme could this go?”
“I could die” he replies. Is that enough danger for you Cowell?!!
WOW! Greg Pritchard is a male soprano and I'm absolutely gobsmacked by his rendition of Nessun Dorma. It was unbelievable, weird and amazing - all at the same time! I was convinced that the backing track had a vocal... It takes a lot to have me shouting at the screen, "Stop the track, stop the track!" But it really was him!
Talk about high pitch, my lord! Simon described it as "A dog meowing" and Piers said it was one of the strangest things he's ever seen. They all couldn't fault his talent though and it's three yesses.
With regard to the numerous strippers the judges have had to endure, Pavabotti did nothing for me...
...but I was rather impressed by this guy! Wonder why?
I LOVE Shaun Smith and I bet Simon wishes he’d auditioned for X Factor and NOT Britain’s Got Talent. The first thing I thought was ‘he’s auditioned for the wrong show!’
A star on the rugby pitch, I think he'll be hanging up his boots after that performance. He sings Ain't No Sunshine and I was surprised. I agree with Amanda that his body language said, "I'm cr*p!" but his voice said something else completely - He was really good. I thought his voice was smooth and quite sweet, not like Mick Hucknall as Simon thought. I know he was trying to be complimentary, but I don't really know where that came from?
"You reminded me of Mick Hucknall, but good looking".
(I'm sure Mick will thank you for that next time he sees you Simon - I have to agree though, Shaun is rather yummy. Fantastic peepers!)
Do I have to tell you he went through... Nah, didn't think so.
Who was your favourite tonight. My vote goes to Shaun, yes I'm just that shallow - the eyes have it.

Oprah has invited Boyle to appear (via satellite) on a 'The World's Got Talent' special of her daytime show. But according to reports in the Daily Mirror, Susan has been told no to sing by Simon Cowell and show producers, as she needs to save her voice for those all important semi-finals.
As far as I'm concerned, all this begs the question...
Is it worth having finals at all?
I mean with this sort of fan base hasn't Susan already won?

Other blogs currently running... 5月6日 Jamie Pugh Off Key?Jamie Pugh is now one of the favourites to win Britain's Got Talent, second only to Susan Boyle. With his rendition of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables, he had the audience on their feet but it seems he didn't always have the voice of an angel... His vocal coach Andrea Beardshaw is the first to say his ear wasn't the best!
She told Wales Online, “I’m not going to lie, Jamie was a tough cookie to teach. He had good rhythm but his ear wasn’t very good. He took a long time to turn, but a lot of that was his confidence. Some people are born to be able to sing. I think Jamie had a voice, but I’m not sure how much musical talent he had to begin with.”
It has also come to light that Jamie did not mention the devastating death of his wife Tracey during the auditions, as he did not want the news that she had died of a brain tumour to be seen as a “sob story”.
Vocal coach Andrea said part of working with Jamie was helping him get over the tragedy. "His confidence was really low and part of my job was managing that. I had to coach it out of him. He never doubted he could make it, but I think he was scared of success.” Do you think that Jamie could go all the way? Selena x Love this blog? This show just gets bigger and better. Last week over 13 million viewers tuned in and with more and more talent leaping onstage, where will it end. Me, I hope it never does - I love it all! This week the judges travel to London, Birmingham, Cardiff and Glasgow...
Father and daughter act Two-a-Like are up first and it doesn't go well at all. They seem to think that because a singer and dancer have both won before, then why not do both.
Dad (Michael) sings and daughter (Gemma) dances. It only takes a few bars of Could It Magic and Simon's whacks his button. Bzzzz!
Even Ant says they don't really gel together and when the third buzzer rings, Simon just bursts out laughing. He can't hold it in! Amanda tries to be nice, “It takes an awful lot of courage to stand on that stage and we should applaud you. It’s great that two generations have been brought together” - But you can tell she's just being polite. Finally Simon pipes up, "Gemma... At least you were a better dancer than your Dad was a singer!" Ouch!
One duo hoping that they can impress the judges are Addicted. Sue Son and Janine are best friends. Janine explains that they met at school and their act is 'classical' with Janine on keyboards and Sue on electric violin. Mmm... This could go one of two ways... Amazing or Dire, place your bets!
Janine goes on to explain that she “is a composer as well" and she wrote the piece they're playing, called Chance.
The judges buzz in seconds, it just doesn't sound right and is rather dreary. Simon says, “I think you are both talented musicians, especially you with the violin, but I don’t think the two go together at all. I thought the song was indulgent and I don’t see where you are going with this”. Amanda agrees, "It's something I’d hear in Covent Garden and it sounded like you were both playing completely different pieces of music”.
As the girls leave the stage Simon's eyes are with Sue... You can almost hear the cogs turning. He calls her back...
"We've had a conversation and we think you are really good but none of us think the act is very good. What we want to ask is if you will come back to audition on your own tomorrow?” Sue looks torn and feels she should be loyal to her friend... It's too good an opportunity to miss though, she agrees.
What was that all about?
Brian Dragon playing his nose!? Amanda said it all, "Please go and wash your hands!" Who would come on this show and play their nose, it's like playing spoons. Not good and bad form... NEXT!
12 year old Callum Francis is the cutest! He's hoping he has what it takes to get through and his parents are crossing their fingers in the wings...
He hits the stage... “ I love singing and dancing I practice everywhere, the bathroom, the kitchen, the living room, anywhere I can. My dream is to perform in the West End and my idol would be the Artful Dodger".
He belts out a cracking version of Consider Yourself, but I have to agree with Simon when he says he's seen it all before.
Piers comments that Callum has “the cheekiest grin we’ve ever had”, and Amanda says “it was a very natural and unspoilt performance and you have a raw talent”. Simon hits the nail on the head. “I think you have more in you than just a safe performance from Oliver, I think you are a very talented young man but I’ve seen that kind of audition a thousand times. I'm not voting for that audition, I'm voting for you - Three yeses!"
Callum shouts "Thank You!" and screams offstage into the loving arms of his Dad.
WOW! Sue Son returned to play solo violin and I have to say, what a performance. That was stunning!
She played Storm by Vanessa Mae and was it just me, or did her facial expressions remind you of Vanessa too? She had that look as if she was swept away by the music, absolutely enchanting.
There's not one buzz from the judges and a standing ovation from the audience. Simon gives her 'that' glance, he can't stop clapping.
Amanda says, “I know it was a tough decision to leave your best friend darlin', but that is going to be the best decision you ever made". Simon agrees and says, "That was "phenomenal”.
Can you believe we've had so much talent already, we're only half way through the show.
Bless 'em. Knit 'n' Natter are Christine (63), Pat (70) and Nancy (81). "We're here today to show people how to finger knit…." Nope, I'm not kidding. You know when you get the feeling that Simon's going to rip them to shreds?
Ant's in shock, “So I’m clear, you are going to go on stage, finger knit and have a chat with each other, and that’s the act?!”. “Yes” Christine explains, “It’s about empowering people”.
You can guess what's coming, but Simon must be in a good mood as he's super-polite. In fact he makes me laugh... "If it was me, I'd have you in different costumes while you're knitting and add some dancers!"
LOL! Did you see Kay Oresanya, talk about self confidence?
He stepped on stage and addressed the judges, "My act is totally unique. When I'm a household name, thanks for that!"
He says he's going to play the sax with his voice but I'm not convinced. I have to agree with Simon. "You sounded like a baby crying along to a Michael Jackson song..." I can't believe that Piers and Amanda enjoyed it. It was funny at first, but the novelty soon wore off.
Okay, it's time for the next big thing... I know I said it last week, but this series is just talent-tastic!
37 year old, Jamie Pugh is waiting for his Cardiff audition and shaking in his boots. He tells Ant and Dec "I suffer from severe stage fright, it has totally crippled me. I've come today to see if I can get through three minutes... I'm just a simple bloke from the Valleys, but my dream is to sing at the Royal Variety in front of a live orchestra." His biggest fear is freezing on stage but the judges don't give him the cold shoulder, they warm to him... He sings Bring Him Home from Les Mis'... The whole theatre are on their feet and half of them are in tears. Jamie is in floods, he can't hold back after that fantastic reaction. Piers says, "I wasn't expecting that kind of performance from you. You deliver pizzas at night, for goodness' sake, and you come on this stage - one of the biggest talent shows in the world - and do a performance like that. I thought it was incredible." Simon knows how important that was to Jamie, "It's people like you who are the reason why we come to Wales every year, I think you could be a special talent, but you have to start believing in yourself. (Jamie breaks down) I only say that because when you're good, you're good and now it's all about self-belief. I think that could have been a major moment in your life..." Jamie nods to the crowd in thanks and they explode. I love this guy, do you? Tonight I loved Sue Son and Jamie, how about you? Other blogs currently running... 5月1日 The Next, Next Big Thing!Yes I know I said it last week, but we've got another cracker this Saturday on Britain's Got Talent.
37 year old, Jamie Pugh attended the Cardiff auditions and to say that his voice came as a surprise is an understatement. Would you expect your pizza delivery man to be a star in the making? ...And a star with stage fright at that? He told Ant and Dec "I suffer from severe stage fright, it has totally crippled me, and I've come today to see if I can get through three minutes. I'm just a simple bloke from the Valleys, but my dream is to sing at the Royal Variety in front of a live orchestra." His biggest fear was freezing on stage, but the judges didn't give him the cold shoulder, they warmed to him immediately. Shaheen Jafargholi has overtaken Susan Boyle as the most popular video on the official Britain's Got Talent website.
If you ask me, I'm surprised that Diversity hasn't wiped them all off the chart - I mean how entertaining can you get? I just loved those guys...
Here I was thinking that I'd be writing about a singing ballerina this week, but no. Much as young Hollie was a cracker, I was blown away by Diversity. Such creativity, sensational musicality and they even threw some comedy in for crying out loud - Is there anthing thye can't do? I can't wait to see what they come up with for the semi-final.
Sorry... Back to the point.
Fortunately for Susan Boyle she's still miles ahead when it comes to 'non-official' video views. Shaheen's combined totals roll in at around the 5 million mark so far, but one of Susan's clips has hit a whopping 47 million worldwide!

Health worker Claire Morton loves nothing more than to sing and it's been her dream for 49 years. "I would love to sing at the Royal Variety and I would like to be number one in the charts!"
![]() The theme from Fame blares and as the crowd clap, Claire gets so carried away with her bouncy dancing that she misses the start of the song! Then to top it off, she's off key and needs a ruddy sheet to remember the words. Bless...
Amanda loved how she was so shy and then exploded when the music began. Piers and Simon disagreed and thought the act "needed a lot of work". Claire tries to point out that the audience loved it, but Simon just explains that "they're not the cleverest lot".
Ouch! The dragon and the trolley pusher were buzzed in seconds!
The dragon act because they kept falling over and the trolley pusher because he was just too out there. Experimental poetic theatre is not for BTG, least of all with shopping trollies - End of. Maybe they could start a double act where the trolley dude catches the falling dragon? There's always next year guys...
One act that does impress Simon and Amanda is Alexandria Craig. She's an acrobat who performs within a huge white wheel and it's amazing to watch, especially when she does the splits on top of it.
I can't help thinking of The Fifth Element when I watch her, can you? Leelu Dallas Multi-pass! It's all those John-Paul Gaultier bandages.
Piers, buzzes her early on and Simon is shocked. He was amazed and tells Piers that he's never seen anything like that. "Oh come on" moans Piers "Anyone could do that”.Simon offers Piers a thousand pounds to attempt it so Piers strips off his jacket and jumps onstage...
He only tries to move the wheel and he's sweating like crazy!
As the words 'bead on' spring to mind, Piers admits defeat before he embarrasses himself... "Okay it’s not as easy as it looks”. Are you ready for this?
It's time for the youngster I tipped you off about yesterday... Dressed in her lilac tutu Hollie starts her ballet routine to I Could Have Danced All Night from My Fair Lady. Simon rolls his eyes and is seconds away from buzzing when Hollie starts to sing... His jaw hits the deck!
WOW - Talk about a showstopper. One minute you thought she was a mediocre ballerina and then she opens her mouth...
The crowd are on their feet and guest Judge Kelly Brook is on the verge of tears. Amanda is singing along and Piers is gobsmacked, "We have seen a lot of children on our show over the last three series and I have never heard any of them sing as well as you do”.
Simon didn't like the song and wasn't happy that she came across as a ballerina wannabe, but he thought she was an amazing singer. "The fact that you don't know how good you are is what I like about you. I think this might be the tip of the iceberg for you, I think you're better than that!"
Backstage, Dad gushes to Ant and Dec... “I am so proud every time she performs, there’s no doubt about it”.
Anthony Ghosh is up next (AKA DJ Talent) and although he works for his dad's engineering firm by day, by night he trains to be a world class DJ. Mmmm... World class?
Bless him, he's wooed the judges already. He's polite, charming and engaging (even with the dodgy outfit, chunky bling and 7 grands worth of gold teeth!)
A thumpin' beat bangs out, the crowd are bouncin' and Anthony starts his PA... "I say Britain, you say talent... Britain's Got Talent it's the DJ Talent!" ...over and over. It's beyond lame, but the crowd love him - It's hard not to.
Simon thought it was "Horrific" but catchy and he beams as he asks DJ Talent to repeat the chorus - He obviously loves what he does and the crowd jump to their feet. Piers says "I'm feeling it bro!" and puts him through. Amanda and Kelly nod along too but the biggest shock is Simon, "Against my better judgement, it's four yeses".
He's a sweet guy, but I didn't think that he'd make the next round - Did you? Click 'add a comment' below to leave your views...
Swimming pool manager Mike Henderson has been doing his act for 20 years - Don't try this at home! “I handstand on knives and I’ve got another knife inverted, pointing upwards towards the throat, if the buzzers goes at the wrong time I really could hurt myself”. Ant and Dec are on pins, the medics are on standby and the judges prepare themselves...
Mike starts to balance...
Then moves on to the second blade... Then the third..
OH GOD HE'S FALLEN ON THE KNIFE!!! LOL! Amanda and Kelly scream and run away, but there's no need. Mike is a pro and he was just picking the smaller blade up with his mouth - It really looked like he'd fallen on the blade throat first - Frightening. I think it could be an error including that in the act.
The judges look totally freaked. Simon shakes his head, "Your hands were shaking and your body was shaking. This is something that should have ended 20 years ago. This is something that could go horribly wrong and I don't want that responsibility".
Kelly is the only judge to say yes and I think that's a shame. They shouldn't have been put off, he deserved more.
Daniel Kahn is female impersonator Tia Anna, well I say female impersonator but he's no Lily Savage! I mean you can pretty much tell from the make up and outfit how this is gonna go...
He performs Without You by Mariah Carey and good lord, my ears are bleeding. His saving grace is that he's genuinely a nice guy and he does actually make the final note - Good for him!
Amanda's torn, "Rubbish as you were, and you were beyond rubbish - You did hit that high note."
Simon is not, "A lot of drag acts sound and look like women, you do neither". Regardless of the negative comments, two judges put him through and it's all down to Amanda. If you ask me, she's a little unfair getting his hopes up... "Drag acts are my favourite... (he smiles) but you were rubbish, so NO!" - Charming!
I bet Daniel wishes she was back in that Wild At Heart bushfire now eh?
>>>>London
Diversity are a dance act that could give Flawless a run for thier money! They're exactly what is says on the tin - Diverse. They explain that they're different races, from different backgrounds, with different jobs, different ages and different lives - A love of dance brings them together.
What a performance! I loved it!
- Great musicality & movement - At one point the music cuts and they fake a race to Chariots Of Fire - Ingenious. - Then (to surprise everyone) another tiny dude jumps out of their kit bag and starts dancing!
It was unbelievable!
Amanda: "Just when I think I've seen it all and it couldn't get any better, you come along. It was dynamic, funny, imaginative... Your relationship was brilliant".
Simon: "That was so current. I've never seen dance so creative and entertaining..."
Simon commends lead dancer Ashley for his fantastic choreography. He asks about the group and Ashley explains that they are all 'normal guys', "He's a telecom engineer, I'm at university, he's a student and... (he points to his tiny counterpart with the kinky fro) ...he's just cute!"
They sail through and the crowd are on their feet.

Selena x 4月21日 The Susan Boyle Sensation! After she bowled over all three judges and brought Amanda Holden to tears, it was time for her celebrity followers to step to the fore.
Susan is booked onto The Early Show and numerous American talk shows invite her to appear.
She is amazed by the reaction to her on Britain's Got Talent and told CBS's The Early Show, "It's breathtaking, unbelievable, awesome... You have to take yourself seriously, so what I did was concentrate on the song. I wanted to make this a tribute to my mother. I knew this was something I had to do."
Her performance of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables has become a global sensation and since that defining moment she's been inundated with offers and invited to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Letterman and Leno. US TV reporters flocked to Susan's home in Blackburn, Scotland on Thursday. When she was told Oprah wanted her as a guest, she said: "Wow! Put me down for it. I'm shaking!"
Now, the latest celebrity to back Susan is none other than Rosie O'Donnell!
She wrote on her blog, www.rosie.com: She was pleased that nobody had messed with Susan's image, "Out she came, like Fiona in shrek, reminding us all how to shine inside...”
And she hopes that Susan will never receive the Hollywood treatment, “Susan Boyle, a woman I hope never gets a makeover, her brows forever bushy, reminding the world, where beauty lives."
Susan agrees, she has no plans to change her looks...
She told The Times, “Maybe I’ll consider a makeover later on. For now I’m happy the way I am — short and plump. I would not go in for Botox or anything like that. I’m content with the way I look. What’s wrong with looking like Susan Boyle? What’s the matter with that?”
Judge Amanda Holden agrees, s But while Holden, O'Donnell and Boyle are all happy with her appearance, Amanda may be right about the American audiences. In the largest vote ever recorded for AccessHollywood.com, a whopping 61% of readers would like Boyle to get a makeover - and that's a LOT of people in the U.S! Trouble is, I've no clue what they'd do with her? My question is... If she's so famous already, will the British public still vote for her on Britain's Got Talent? What do you think?

Is He Competition For Susan?
Demi posted Shaheen's video clip yesterday on Twitter and added, "This boy is something else!" Yep, he is that Dems, he is that... In other news, Susan Boyle's latest fan is none other than Elaine Paige herself! In a message posted on her website, she wrote "Ever since Susan's appearance on 'Britain's Got Talent' my Radio 2 inbox has been flooded with emails. It seems her performance has really captured the hearts of everyone who saw it, me included... it looks like I have competition! Perhaps we should record a duet?" She described the Scottish singer as "a role model for everyone who has a dream". So who will come out on top?

SHOW STARTS:
11.8 million viewers tuned in to watch last weeks launch episode of Britain’s Got Talent 2009 and in the last 7 days Susan Boyle alone has become a world wide phenomenon with over 20 million web hits and rising.
Who can impress the judges this week?
To Cardiff>>>
First up are are the Singing Souls (Louise, Tasha and Hannah), 3 students and lifelong friends from Wiltshire. They think they have what it takes to be the next Sugababes, but I'm getting the feeling that they're not going to sound like them.
“We’re going to show those judges what it takes to be better than the Pussycat Dolls and Sugababes. We’re all very powerful singers when we want to be and we're going to show the judges what it takes to win this competition."
Ouch! Simon Cowell thinks they’re called ‘The Singing Trolls’ and Hannah's not impressed! "Don’t make me come down there Simon”.
The girls start singing Taking Over Me by Evanescence, but all three judges buzz in seconds and the girls are gobsmacked!
Simon shakes his head, “Girls, can I be honest with you? It’s one of the worst groups I’ve ever heard in my life”
Hanah's had enough, “You want to come up here and sing Simon? Because I’d like to see you face that lot.”
When will they ever learn? “Look girls. Here’s the deal. You sing, and I’ll judge. That’s the way it goes.”
She replies, "No, you sing, and I’ll judge you. Simon smiles, "Trust me, I can be just be as bad as you lot.”
Amanda thinks they've stepped over the line, “You are grounded!” “Bite Me!” Hannah snipes. The argument concludes with Simon telling them they're awful and shouldn't compare themselves to the Spice Girls and Hannah telling him that "they couldn't sing anyway!" - So there! Frankly I would have to agree with Simon, they didn't float my boat and their attitude stinks. I mean never, and I mean never badmouth the judges - These guys can make you a star!
To Birmingham>>>
Good lord is that guy really gonna go on as Darth Vader?
Darth is keen to describe his act. “I think Darth Vadar is the greatest cinema baddie ever! He’s just the epitome of cool. Its outstanding, it’s exciting, it’s highly entertaining”
Needless to say Phillip's darkside emerges when Simon says "awful" and "one of the worst he's seen". I can't belive that Amanda and Piers put him through, in what way was that talent?
I've got a feeling that Julian Smith is going to be brilliant. but he could have a problem impressing Simon (as he's got an A1 bag on!)
Julian loves nothing more than to play Sax, “Playing Saxophone is my life, I’ve been playing this for 20 years and to just purely play it for a living would be the ultimate dream."
The crowd are behind him. They cheer him on when Simon complains that he's taking too long to set up...
He plays Somewhere Somehow from West Side Story and the audience give a standing ovation.
Piers describes the whole thing as "Cool" and Amanda is in tears. Simon thinks Julian has a shining future, "The whole idea of this show is not necessarily to find someone great, but to find someone with huge talent and I believe that we've found that with you. You've got something special!"
Julian is overjoyed when he leaves the stage and is bursts into tears as he hugs his partner. He played beautifully and his passion for this instrument floats in every note... Was that a bit gooey? Sorry, I'm trying to say it was crackin'.
Arrr... Poor Louise Moores. I felt so sorry for her when her parrot Harry wouldn't sing, but how funny was her rendition of Take On Me?
...She knew she was beat when he didn't make a peep and left the stage before the judges could speak. "I'm going home now, sorry Harry". Classic BTG!
Paws For Thought weren't much better... With all of the props and ramps I thought they were going to be a doggy spectacular - They weren't. I had to smile when that little Jack Russel turned away from the ramp though - You just knew what he was thinking... "You can woof-off if you think I'm jumping through that hoop of fire mate!"
I loved Peter Coghlan's attitude. When he took to the stage he was humble and polite, but gave just as good as he got.
He explained that he's been an entertainer and drag queen for 26 years and Simon is shocked when he says that he's married... Peter smiles, "We can all be camp can't we Simon?" Cowell can't help but laugh, he knows that Peter's having a crack and exactly what he's getting at.
His bellydancing act goes down a storm with Amanda and Piers, but SImon refuses to put him through after he plunges his finger into his bellybutton and then licks it. It reminds me of The Hopefuls on The Word! "If you think I'm going to let you stick your finger into parts of your body infront of the royal family..."
It's two to one though, he's through!
WOW! How many costume changes can one dance troop get through?
The DSD Seniors are rocking the stage and they have more energy than the national grid - They just don't stop. There's so many different styles of dance, they're on fire!
Apart from telling a young girl (fourth from the left) that she's one of the prettiest girls he's ever seen, Simon says one word... Sensational!
Talking of sensational, did you just hear Shaheen? I was nearly in tears when he started his second song.
He was so nervous to begin with and tried to sing Valerie but Simon stopped him after just one line. "You've got this so wrong. What else do you sing apart from that?" To be honest I think Simon was testing how strong he was...
"I can do Who's Loving You by Michael Jackson."
Shaheen opens his mouth and my lord, he nailed it. The crowd leapt to their feet with every line and I had to stop and listen (sorry about that... I'm back now).
Simon says , "That song could have just changed your life." Amanda is gushing... "I do the goosebump test. I got it with Paul Potts, I got it with George Sampson and I got it with you!"
Now that's a compliment, does Amanda think he can win this?
Bless him, he just can't believe it...

The Sun has reported that burlesque dancer Fabia called Heart Radio in Oxford to say that she’d received hate mail and had been left feeling "mentally exhausted". Her saucy appearance on Saturday night had provoked viewers to complain to Ofcom and unfortunately the backlash from some had been harsh.
Thankfully when she woke following day, she'd had a change of heart and decided to carry on with the reality series...
She called Heart Radio:
“I woke up this morning feeling refreshed and calm and looked at the bigger picture and thought to myself ‘d’ya know what girl? I am what I am and I’m going to keep going.’
I’m a strong enough woman, I’ve been through hell in my life so whatever I’ve been through I’ve learnt to deal with it and turn it around into a positive." Fabia revealed previously that she's been a victim of rape, a drug addict and suffers from bipolar disorder.
She continued, "It was 12.30am in the morning and I’ve had a really turbulent week. If anybody in my shoes can understand, it’s such an overwhelming thing to do and I didn’t realise how famous I’d become overnight. It’s quite frightening really – but exciting as well.
It’s really difficult and you have to be a really tough cookie.”
I'm sure ater everything that's happened to you, you'll stick with it Fabia. We know you're a little battler, so bring it on BGT!
What do you think of Fabia's rollercoaster ride?
Do you think she'll stick it out?
I hope so, she may have received some negative comments but she's got so many fans. Personally I admire her gusto and attitude to life, she's got just as much right to go for it as everybody else - so why not? You go Fabia!

Not only did she wow the judges and the British public, now she's moved on to wowing an international audience too.
Susan (a church worker, who admits she's never been kissed) entered the competition after singing locally for years without being discovered. She bowled the judges over with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables and it wasn't long before the Paul Potts Effect kicked in...
Between MSN Video and You Tube, her audition clip had two and a half million hits in the first 72 hours!
What on earth does that mean for the other contestants?
Do you think any of them stand a chance? If so, who? ...or is it a done deal now and Susan's the runaway winner? Click 'add a comment' below to leave your views...

Can you say peculiar, unusual and eccentric? I can say top drawer talent, which isn't lacking tonight either. Click 'add a comment' below to give me your views on each audition and join in with the live blog. You can keep up with my views (as I write them) by pressing F5 to refresh your screen. I can't wait to see the wonderful menagerie of maniacs and Madonna's taking to the stage tonight... We've had Paul and a George win, I wonder if we'll see John and Ringo this year? SHOW STARTS: The judges are so excited about this year's show... Simon: ”This is the most unpredictable show I’ve ever been on in my life, so its like going on a big dipper ride, scary but great fun." Piers: “I’m very excited about this series, I’m really looking forward to finding some really unusual acts.” ![]() Amanda: “I’m so excited to be back, it’s my favourite job in the world and it genuinely is an honour to be on the panel judging other people’s talents.” The audition doors open and we're off! First up to impress the Judges is 59 year old security officer Manjit Singh who has come to show off his strong man skills. Can you believe he's going to blow up a hot water bottle until it bursts and then pull a car with his ears? Simon's eyes nearly popped out of his head when he told them what he was going to do... I'm usually the first to say don't try this at home but just have a go at blowing up a hot wockybock and see how tough it is. The hot water bottle inflates (after what seems like forever) and you can cut the tension with a knife - The 3 thousand strong audience are wincing... It's about to blow! Following the explosion, Manjit pulls his van onto the stage via his ears… I can't believe I just typed that. Piers can only describe him as an absolute lunatic! Simon’s (as always) wants more, more, more. "What’s the biggest thing you could pull?” Manjit promises to pull a Boeing 747 in the next round and I actually believe him. Loving the skills, but not big on the whole strong man thing - How about you? I just don't think it's worth £100,000! Father and Son act, Demetrios Demetriou and Lagi are hoping to impress the judges with their Greek Cypriot Riverdancing! Yes, you heard me, I nearly wet myself when Demetrios pranced on the stage - From their introduction Amanda was expecting something beyond boring and then this! This wonderfully hilarious Michael Flatley tribute is second to none and the audience are on their feet in fits of laughter. Simon is beaming and declares it as “one of my favourite dance acts ever." Amanda squeals, "I'm ecstatic, it came completely out of the blue and I had no idea it was going to happen - Yes, yes, yes!" - All of the judges agree and so do I. They make the perfect pair, but if I'm honest Lagi stole the show with his poses. Cracking stuff! It's all been good fun so far, but I'm hoping to see some real vocal or dance talent soon... I did catch a glimpse of can-can dancers Cherry On Top earlier and they seemed to know their stuff. They made it through and after seeing those ladies perform somersaults and splits, I'm not surprised. I thought Piers and Simon were going to hop onstage with them at one point. Glasgow>>>> Betty Delight is up first from Scotland and as she parades around with her parasol, it's obvious that Simon's not sold on mime. "Nobody actually likes clowns, I never liked them as a child and I hate them even more now!" Simon, you're such a sourpuss. I thought she looked great! Eugh! Ferrero Rocher's are so sticky... James Boyd is from Dumferline and he’s going to attempt to set a new World Record, by eating as many Ferrero Rocher’s as possible in one minute… James explains, “The world record stands at 7. Everyone thinks it will be easy but I’ve been practicing for the last 6 – 7 months, nobody else has done it throughout the world.” He manages to scoff 4 (which is pitiful) and the judges poo-poo his chocolate fun in seconds. James is even more gutted when he leaves the stage and Ant reveals that he managed to eat 5 in the same amount of time. Try it yourself... Quick one: Jason the unicyclist was unlucky wasn't he? You get the feeling it was the nerves that threw him. How many unicyclists would set up huge steps like that just to fall off them? He should have a second bite of the cherry. Susan Boyle from West Lothian rocks! She came on stage looking frumpy and 'claiming' she was in her forties, she even gyrated her hips at the judges and you could see they weren't impressed. Then she opened her mouth and they just couldn't believe it! Talk about your Paul Potts moment... ...She belts out a fantastic rendition of I Dream A Dream from Les Mis' and I'm in awe. Piers was totally shocked, "Without a doubt that is the biggest surprise I have ever had in three years. When you came out and said you wanted to be like Elaine Paige we were all laughing at you." Amanda agrees, "We were being cynical and that is the biggest wake up call ever. That was a complete pleasure." I'm laughing as Simon says, "I knew exactly what was going to happen.." Yeah right Cowell! He continues, "You're a tiger aren't you?" All of the judges put her through and Piers adds that it's the biggest "YES" he's ever given. London>>>>> I can't understand a word that Andrew's singing, but he's obviously impressed Simon. "I think you have a fabulous voice, I really do." - Me, I couldn't judge. There were lots of runs, wiggles and warbles, but I'd need to hear him sing something else. Vicki and the All Star Display Team are a sensation. The crowd screams and cheers as they split, flip and lift (do I sound like a bra advert there or is it just me?). Anyway... It's like gymnastics meets cheerleading, but the heights they reach - WOW! Andy Demetriou manages to rally the audience even though the judges want him removed from the stage. He's a Gene Kelly fan but sadly when he starts his routine, it's apparent he's no twinkle toes. He just sways and waves his arms. Ant and Dec crack me up! As Amanda says that Andy's act is appalling and Simon points to stage right so he'll bog off, he starts waving his arms again and swaying... "Andy, now you're becoming annoying." - It's hilarious as he continues to sway and wave regardless of the judges and then to top it off, Ant and Dec play his music again (just to egg on the crowd and keep him going!) - Before you know it the whole crowd are 'doing the dance' and shazam, Ant & Dec appear and join in too! Let's all do 'The Andy'. Even with a new craze born (NOT!) he still doesn't make it through. Flawless are a first on Britain's Got Talent. They brought Simon to his feet and he stood to applaud before anyone else. They're by far the best hip-hop dance group I've ever seen - I mean did you see that guy flip up onto his head from laying down? The choreography was unbelievable and the synchronization - WOW! Piers says, "Electrifying" and Amanda gushes too... "That was jaw droppingly outstanding. Just breathtaking. I couldn't take my eyes off you and I didn't want it to end." It's Simon that gets me, he obviously loves them. "I always believe that people in this country have talent, especially in these tough times it's hard. It's obvious that you are all really good friends and it shows that with hard work, talent and effort, this is what you can achieve." Needless to say, the boys sail through... I think half the battle is being a genuinely nice group of people and with these guys, there was no question. Birmingham>>>>> Cha-Ching! Now right there is the money shot! No offence to the other acts, but I think we've just seen the winner of this year's Britain's Got Talent! No, it wasn't the Witch of Woolamaloo who cursed Simon for not getting through... It was Elliot from Good Evans! Slap bang in the middle of this rather twee little family act is a voice that made Simon Cowell's eyes flash dollar signs! Good Evans (a play on the family name) performed I'll Be There by the Jackson 5 and although Georgia and Olivia were adorable and Mum and Dad tried their best, only one person stood out and that was Elliot. Simon reeled from his solos, "I think you are a star young man!" Dad seemed a little wounded to be asked to take a back stage role, but Mum agreed that Elliot has an unbelievable tone. One to watch me thinks... Stand aside, you have a winner in the making. Bless... Favia is what this show is all about. She's always dreamed of being a dancer and in her younger years she was a real talent (a VT runs of her training). Now, regardless of age, she wants to do it anyway... Go on girl! The crowd scream as the music rings out... I think Piers is in love - You know how much he loves the larger lady! "You are my kind of woman. If I had my way you would be in the final right now." Amanda adds, "I think if you were performing for all of the curvy women out there, you made your point love!" - The most important thing is, the crowd loved her... and so did I. What a great night's entertainment! So who was your favourite tonight? Selena x Other blogs currently running... 4月8日 It's Coming... Show 1 Sneak PeekBritain's Got Talent 2009 is on it's way and from what I've seen so far, it's going to be a cracking series!
Just four days until we're laughing, booing and screaming at our TV's and the country winces at the guy who hangs bins from his ears (I kid you not) and then smiles at the latest cute doggy act. How do you fancy a sneak peak at the first show? Yes?
My funniest favourites include...

But if you're here for acts that stand out, check out...

...and I'm sure that the male judges just loved this Dita Von Teese style routine - I wonder if she'll go through? (Well duh!)
Just click here to take a look in my photo album if that taster left you wanting... There's so many great acts this year and so much action. It won't be long before we're laughing, booing and screaming at our TV sets and the country holds it's breath as fire eaters munch away and knife throwers start flinging! We'll be there to say "Arrr..." when the doggies roll over and jump, just at the right time and no doubt we'll fall in love with a mini-pop cutie-pie who steals our heart with her wee little voice (when really she should be home in bed)
The news from the auditions is that Simon's already found his winner, but I think we'll be the judge of that Mr Cowell! I mean, can you say public vote? I don't think anyone can predict a winner the way reality votes are going these days -Do you?
